These bits are intended for professional use. They can be safely sterilized in an autoclave and in a hot-air sterilizer. They are also suitable for disinfection using specialist products designed for cosmetic tools.

Sterilization and cleaning
Before first use, disinfect the instruments in a disinfectant solution for 30 minutes. Do not use disinfectants based on active oxygen.
After each use, remove any organic particles. Clean the instruments ultrasonically or under running water. Repeat if necessary. After cleaning, dry the tool, otherwise it may corrode. Sterilize the instruments under the following conditions:
- at 1 atm overpressure at 121°C for 15 minutes, or
- at 2 atm at 132–134°C for 5 minutes.
