1. Is Laloo a Greek company?
Laloo is a proudly Greek company! Since 2013, our mission has been to provide every professional nail artist with the most modern, safe, and high-quality products, along with specialized customer service. We don’t just bring the latest trends– we’re often the first to launch them! At the same time, we actively support the local market with our own logistics and production facilities, while also investing in education through the Laloo Academies located in the largest cities across Greece.
2. Are your products dermatologically tested?
Of course! At Laloo, your safety is our top priority! For this reason, we have subjected our products to very strict dermatological tests in collaboration with certified analytical laboratories in Europe. The products were applied on the skin of volunteers, and their reaction was examined after 24 and 48 hours.
This type of testing is extremely rigorous, since under normal and correct use of the products, such direct exposure to the skin is highly unlikely. The result? Non-irritant!
What does this mean in practice? Even if the product accidentally comes into contact with the skin, the chances of unwanted reactions are very low. And if you’d like extra reassurance, feel free to ask us for the official certificates!
3. Do your products contain TPO?
No, none of our products contain TPO. At Laloo, safety, quality, and innovation are the foundations of the trust we build with our customers. These are not just promises – they are our commitment. You are our priority!
Laloo Cosmetics officially declares that all cosmetic products manufactured and distributed within the European Union fully comply with the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on cosmetic products.
All our products:
- Have undergone a thorough safety assessment by qualified scientists.
- They feature correct labeling, packaging, and instructions for use in accordance with EU legislation.
- Are accompanied by a Product Information File (PIF), available to the competent authorities upon request, and are manufactured under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Have been properly notified through the CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal).
- Do not contain Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO).

4. Do your products contain HEMA?
We are proud to say that the majority of our products are HEMA-free. First, it is important to clarify that HEMA and TPO are two completely different ingredients. While HEMA has not been banned, at Laloo we have chosen not to use it, as we prioritize gentler and more advanced formulas for both professionals and clients.

5. Does Laloo test on animals?
No! We are proudly Cruelty-Free, officially certified by PETA. This means that our products are never tested on animals at any stage of production – from the sourcing of raw materials to the final product. 6. Are your products suitable for vegans?
Absolutely! All Laloo products are Vegan Friendly. This means they do not contain any animal-derived ingredients, either in their formula or during the production process.
This way, professionals who follow a vegan lifestyle (or have clients who specifically request vegan products) can feel confident knowing they are choosing products that respect both animals and the environment.
7. I am pregnant/breastfeeding. Can I use your products?
Our products are certified and formulated in a way that makes them safe to use. However, every body is different. The best practice is always to consult with your doctor to ensure what’s right for you and your unique needs.
8. How can I know if a product has expired?
Like all cosmetic products, ours carry a special marking for product durability, known as the “open jar” icon (e.g., 12M or 24M). This indicates that the product can be safely used for 12 or 24 months after opening.
If you notice that the product has changed in texture, smell, or color, it’s best to replace it to ensure the best possible results.
For maximum longevity, always store your products in a cool, dry, and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. This way, your Laloo products will stay ready to perform at their best.

12. Why do some colors look different in real life compared to the website?
The appearance of a color can be influenced by many factors: the screen settings of your computer or mobile, the lighting conditions during photography, skin tone, or even the base layer on which the product is applied.
That’s why we always aim to provide the most realistic photos possible. Still, for the most reliable reference, we recommend that professionals also use color charts or swatch sticks.

13. How many applications does a Laloo gel polish cover?
A 15ml Laloo bottle can cover approximately 30–35 full sets, depending on the working style of each nail artist — for example, whether thin or thicker layers are applied, as well as the nail length and design. The smaller 7ml bottles offer about half as many applications.
