Laloo Cosmetics UV/LED Gel Super Clear 50ml

High quality professional monophasic builder gel of the line Nailprocare UV Gel Builders. Suitable for building tips or forms or even for fortifying the natural nails. Semi-dense for an easy application without runnings.

Excellent for use by novice professionals as the semi-dense texture ensures the building of an artificial nail without runnings at the cuticles or the nail folds. Also ideal for experienced technicians as it helps reduce procedure time by allowing building 2 or 3 nails at a time.

Application :

Step 1 PREP

1) File the free edge with a 240 Grit file.

2) Using a pusher or a drill, lift softly the cuticles and remove the dead cells from the nail folds.

ATTENTION!!! The cuticle protects the nail matrix and it is dangerous to pull on it. Be extra careful when you use the pusher or the drill as a violent move can cause damage to the cuticle.

3) Use a cuticle nipper and remove the cuticles carefully.

4) Be sure to clean thoroughly the nail folds.

5) With a straight 150/180 file, file smoothly the surface of the nail with a direction towards the free edge. File extra smoothly near the cuticle and its folds.

6) Remove the dust with a dust remover brush.

7) Hydrate the surface of the nail using a cellulose paper steeped in pure acetone. The acetone is the only fluid which guarantees the right disinfection of the nail body. (After the procedure you can lubricate the surface again using Cuticle Oil).

***** The filing procedure is very important. What we actually do is create invisible scales on the nail and thus help the building material penetrate and be better integrated on the natural nail.

ATTENTION!!! We never use a buffer after filing.

8) During the preparation procedure, use an anti-fungal. This is a fluid which prevents the creation of mould in the event of lifting nail material and which removes any oiliness even from the deepest layers of the nails.

9) Apply a second layer of cellulose steeped in acetone.

Step 2 How to apply a form or a tip

1) In order to apply a tip, use a tip glue with a brush. Be sure that the glue is applied on the entire surface of the attachment. Pay extra attention to the sides and the corners.

2) Hold the tip at a 45° angle until it adheres completely to the natural nail – it will take 5-10 minutes.

FREQUENT PROBLEMS

They occur:

Α) When you choose a smaller tip size than the natural nail.

Β) When the glue is not appropriately applied on the tip.

C) When the tip has a bigger curve than the natural nail and gaps are formed between them.

CRACKS AND SPLITS

They occur:

A) When you choose the wrong tip curve.

Β) When the tip has come in contact with the primer : the primer is applied ONLY on the natural nail!

C) When the tip cutter does not cut smoothly.

FORMING

How to fit a form appropriately

1) Push the interior perforated lines of the form, remove the small piece and stick it on the sticky surface of the form.

2) Roll the form with your thumbs so as to create a curve similar to C.

3) Place the form under the free edge of the natural nail - the form has to be aligned with the natural nail.

4) Push the sides of the form to attach it in place.

5) Press the frontal sides tightly and push softly towards the natural nail in order to create the desirable curve.

Step 3

Super Clear Gel application

1) The UV Gel Super Clear is monophasic so the same material is used both as a base and as a builder.

2) Apply the Primer-Bonder.

3) Take a small amount of gel and apply it like nail polish on the natural nail and the tip or the form. This layer is extra important since it ensures the correct adhesion of the gel on the natural nail.

4) Polymerise.

5) Take with your brush a bigger amount of gel and place it on the centre of the nail (near the attachment area of the tip or the form). Using floating (circular) brush movements apply the gel towards the cuticle area moving the material to the free edge. Give the desirable length, fix the APEX and fortify the stressing point.

6) Polymerise.

7) Now you can apply a third thin layer to cover any building imperfections.

8) Polymerise.

9) With a cellulose paper steeped in pure acetone remove the sticky surface.

10) Remove the forms and file – form the artificial nail accordingly.

Finally, you can polish/ finish the nail with Quick-Finish.

** If you wish to paint the nails with a semi-permanent colour, then you will have to follow the  semi-permanent application procedure.

FREQUENT PROBLEMS

- I polymerise the gel but when I remove the lamp it hasn’t been polymerized appropriately (it is still fluid and soft as gum).

1) Check the polymerization lamp for potential damage (maybe some of the bulbs don’t work). Frequently, UV lamps seem to operate without polymerizing. We recommend replacing the bulbs every 3 or 4 months.

2) You have used more gel than you should (especially during the first layer). The UV Gel Super Clear is particularly thick, thus you should be extra careful when you apply each layer. -I have placed artificial nails on a client but the next day most of them came off.

1) The PREP procedure has not been followed thoroughly. Pay extra attention to the filing of the nail body and its appropriate disinfection/dehydration. Don’t let the client smoke, touch her hair or her face throughout the procedure. All the above are sources of oiliness!!

- The material in the pot is too dense and hard.

1) The gel is a material influenced by weather conditions (hot/cold). Store it in a dry place and in room temperature (18-20° C). If it is still hard, check to see if the product has been polymerized due to overexposition to sunlight or another kind of radiation.

-The gel has bubbles.

1) The PREP procedure has not been followed thoroughly.

2) During the procedure you have touched the cuticles or the nail folds.

3) You have not used a primer!
